Safe Harbor Support Center is committed to our community and our clients, many of whom are part of the vulnerable populations who are at risk for more severe reactions to the COVID-19 virus. 

 

We take our duty to the community very seriously and want to ensure we are still providing the services we are able to while doing our part to help slow the spread of this virus, or “flatten the curve” to help prevent our medical community from being overwhelmed by the number of patients in need of care. 

 

 

Program Closures and Cancellations:

 

Effective immediately:

Dependency 101 & 102 classes will be held in person and via Zoom.

​

The following classes will be held only via Zoom:

​

• Incredible Years

• Taming the Dragons

• 4 hour parenting seminar

​

Other restrictions for health and safety of our staff and clients:

​

Non-essential staff members, volunteers, visitors etc. are prohibited from visiting at Safe Harbor’s administration building, and My Friends' Place. 

 

Clients are not to enter the administration building. 

 

 

 

How will we be serving our community? 

 

Family Assistance Packages are ONLY provided to those who have pre-scheduled, confirmed pick ups. Family Assistance appointments can be made via our website www.safeharborsupportcenter.org REQUEST ASSISTANCE HERE

We will not be providing drop in assistance - there will be no exception.

 

 

Our dedicated staff at My Friends’ Place will continue to provide a safe, caring environment to homeless teens in our community.

Our Parents for Parents program and our Parenting Seminar classes will continue via zoom calls.

 

 

And how can you help?

We will still accept monetary donations at this time to support clients utilizing the programs that do remain operational, including our family assistance programs, and My Friends' Place.

 

Stay safe. Wash your hands. The efforts of the healthy who will not be severely impacted will help those who are most at risk for severe complications.
